My Apple iMac computer which I purchased in 2019 had suddenly become slow, and I contacted the Apple Store Kingston Upon Thames. They had the iMac computer at the Genius Bar for testing and were not able to resolve the problem. I then did a search for a slow iMac 2019 and found Keith Thomas, who advised me that this is common and sadly popular for two reasons: the iMac Macintosh HD can become very slow, or the 1Tb storage can become slow all of a sudden, but the Apple Hardware Diagnostic Tools fail to identify the problem. Keith Thomas was able to visit me and advised me that the only way to try to fix the problem was to erase the iMac computer and do a clean install of macOS Sequoia by downloading the software. This actually helped to gain some speed on the iMac computer, but Keith Thomas advised me that due to the work that I do, a new iMac computer was the best way forward. Keith Thomas returned to do a complete iMac 2019 to a new iMac M4 migration and then provided iMac M4 training on some of the new features of macOS Sequoia. He also updated my iPhone and iPad at the same time.
